"Oh wow" is a phrase I hear often from my little guy. He is 21 months and quite the talker. I have been trying to take notes of some of the cute things he says and does. The days are flying by!
Phrases he says very often: "Oh boy!, what in the WORLD?!, open sesame!, hey you kid!, cowabunga!, what IS that?!, play witchoo Mama/Daddy?!, get up Mama/Daddy!, good morning!, how are YOU?!, feel better soon!, happy birthday!"
Did you notice that everything ends in an exclamation point? That's because he talks at a level 10 all the time. We are trying to teach him to use an inside voice.
Big words he says surprisingly well: "Pumpernickel, porcupine, limousine, cowabunga, centipede, scorpion"
Favorite things or activities (in order of importance): Garbage trucks, scorpions & spiders, the vacuum, the moon, the iron and ironing board, playing with the mayo, mustard, ketchup and ranch bottles from the fridge, trucks, playing kitchen, coloring with markers, going to HyVee (he recognizes HyVee & Target by sight), going to library storytime
Sigh. Needless to say, he keeps us very entertained and equally worn out. There are so many more things I could tell you, but it's neverending. I'm daydreaming of springtime and can't wait to get back outdoors daily with him. And to celebrate his second birthday in April!
