We're back home after spending 10 great days in Chicago. This trip was a mixture of business and pleasure, starting with 2 days at the BlogHer conference. I spent most of my BlogHer time hanging out in the Shutter Suite with my fellow Shutter Sisters. It was surreal to meet these amazing ladies in person after 2 years of working together. We are all spread out accross the country (plus Paris!), so being together in one room was very special. I met so many other inspiring women in the Shutter Suite and I left feeling more creative than I have in a while.
Here are some of my favorites from my time at Blogher.
The amazing Tracy Clark, spreading the love.
Stephanie, looking strong and thoughtful.
This is Liz, a native Chicagoan and Shutter Sisters fan.
One of the loveliest moments of my days at Blogher was going on a group Photowalk with a Kirsten from Lensbaby. A Lensbaby is a funky little lens that you can tilt and turn to distort and blur parts of the photo. I have the Composer, but Kirsten brought out all kinds of different lenses and attachments to experiment with.
These are some of my favorites from the Photowalk.
On Saturday night we hosted a pajama party in the suite.
Wow, that was a lot of photos. And that was only 2 days out of the 10 we were in Chicago! It was a pleasure to meet so many beautiful women and I can't wait until we can all meet up again.
I have tons more photos to go through including the three Chicago photo sessions I did.
Check back soon for those!
